Anime NYC, Aniplex of America and, Sony Music Entertainment have announced that they will be hosting a star-studded stage event at this year's Anime NYC to celebrate the ongoing film trilogy Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel!
Fans who attend the two-hour event, titled “Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel Special Event Featuring Aimer,” will be treated to a concert by popular Japanese singer Aimer. Known for her unique husky vocals, Aimer performed “Hana no Uta”, the theme song of Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel I. presage flower. Since the beginning of her career in 2011, she has since performed numerous hits for popular anime like Bleach, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, and Natsume’s Book of Friends.
The main cast of the Fate series' English dub will also star in the event, with Kari Whalgren (Saber), Cristina Vee (Matou Sakura), Bryce Papenbrook (Emiya Shirou), and Tony Oliver (Lancer) confirmed as participants.
Stage events showcasing cast members and performers are typically reserved for those living in Japan, so this special event presents a rare opportunity for fans in New York to directly hear the voices behind Fate. Those who attend will also get a peek at world-first footage for the upcoming second installment, Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel II. lost butterfly, along with other behind-the-scenes materials from the trilogy.
Scheduled to take place on Nov. 17 at the Javits Center in Manhattan, fans will need both their Anime NYC badge and a separate event ticket (from $25) to attend “Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel Special Event Featuring Aimer”. For more information, visit the official website.
