Ace Attorney anime adaptation Gyakuten Saiban: Sono "Shinjitsu", Igiari! is returning for a second season this fall!
The series follows Naruhodou Ryuichi (Phoenix Wright in the localized game), known for his passionate pursuit of the truth and his catchphrase “Objection!” The original Capcom game was first released in 2001 and spawned a number of sequels and spinoffs, with the anime adaptation's first season aired in Apr 2016.
The anime's staff and cast will be returning for the next season, including Watanabe Ayumu as director, Tomioka Atsuhiro for series composition, and Outa Keiko for character design and animation direction. Kaji Yuki, Yuki Aoi, and Tamaki Masashi will reprise their roles as Naruhodou Ryuuichi, Ayasato Mayoi, and Mitsurugi Reiji respectively.
