Bungo Stray Dogs, a manga series following super-powered detectives based on famous literary artists, has revealed the main visual for its stage play adaptation! Bungo Stray Dogs on Stage will run from Dec. 22 to 24 at KAAT Kanagawa Arts Theater in Kanagawa, Jan. 12 and 13 at Morinomiya Piloti Hall in Osaka, and from Jan. 31 to Feb. 4 at AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo in Tokyo.
The play is written by Mikasano Chuji and directed by Nakayashiki Norihito, who wrote the script for the hyper projection play Haikyu!! as well as wrote and directed the Kuroko’s Basketball stage play, with cooperation from original creator Asagiri Kafka and illustrator Harukawa Sango.
The cast will feature Torigoe Yuki ( Yowamushi Pedal, Touken Ranbu ) as Nakajima Atsushi, Tawada Hideya ( Prince of Tennis musical) as Dazai Osamu, Teruma as Kunikida Doppo, Nagae Ryoki as Edogawa Ranpo, Kuwano Kosuke as Tanizaki Junichiro, Horinouchi Hitoshi as Miyazawa Kenji, Imamura Miho as Yosano Akiko, Hashimoto Shohei as Akutagawa Ryunosuke, Masaki Kohei as Kajii Motojiro, Kuwae Sakina as Izumi Kyoka, Hirata Yuka as Higuchi Ichiyo, and Ueda Keisuke as Nakahara Chuya.
