DARLING in the FRANXX Reveals New Character PV!

DARLING in the FRANXX, an upcoming original anime made in collaboration by Trigger ( Kill la Kill and Little Witch Academia ) and A-1 Pictures ( AnoHana and THE IDOLM@STER series) released its second character PV on Sep. 20! The video made its debut during the rebroadcast of Gurren Lagann, and it introduces a girl by the name of Code:015 “Ichigo” and a boy called Code:056 “Goro”.

Ichigo is the leader and a big sister-like figure to the children. She is very responsible and takes her role seriously. She is also an excellent pilot student.

Goro, on the other hand, is a mood maker who is also a skilled pilot.

The two share a Franxx named Delphinium, which was revealed in this video. The mechanical designs in this series are made by Koyama Shigeto, who is known for his work on Gundam Reconguista in G and Big Hero 6.

We also get a glimpse of the silhouettes of the next pair to be introduced! There are three more character PVs coming, one for each week, making up five in total. The third installment will release on Sep. 27. Until then, stay tuned~
