A 2nd PV featuring a new clip has been released for the TV anime adaptation of Blend S coming out this month! It also gives fans a chance to hear the opening theme “Bon Appetit ♡ S” sung by Blend A, the unit consisting of the 3 main cast members: Waki Azumi, Kito Akari, and Haruno Anzu.
The original comic is serialized in Manga Time Kirara Carat (Houbunsha). It’s a 4-koma manga, and the 3rd volume came out in Jan. 2017. The story is set in a cafe called Stile where customers can enjoy the different “traits” or roles of the waitresses including tsundere, younger sister, and sadistic.
The newly released PV follows protagonist Sakuranomiya Maika as she is scouted as a sadistic girl for Stile, based on an evil expression in her eyes.
Other characters are introduced, as well, including Hinata Kaho who serves as the tsundere, Hoshikawa Mafuyu (younger sister trait), Amano Miu (older sister trait), and Kanazaki Hideri (idol trait), as well as the shop master Dino and chef Akizuki Koyo. It also seems that we’ll be getting more details in the near future, as well, including some information about the official release date for the Blend A theme song “Bon Appetit ♡ S”.
An early screening event to be held at United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba was also announced for Sept. 29. It will include episode 1, as well as a portion where Waki, Kito, and Haruno will talk. Fans can follow the official Twitter for a chance at the raffle to go. Applications for the raffle will be open until 11:59 pm on Sept. 18.
The series will officially begin airing on Oct. 7, 2017 on TOKYO MX, BS11, and more!
