Hit otome game Tokimeki Restaurant will be celebrating its 5th anniversary with a theatrical anime film!
Most details are still being kept under wraps, but the film, titled Miracle 6, will premiere in Mar. 2018. It will be produced by Production I.G., and Kon Chiaki has been assigned as the animation director. The cast for the idols from 3 Majesty and X.I.P. will be the same as their in-game counterparts: Kishio Daisuke, Namikawa Daisuke, Kakihara Tesuya, Hino Satoshi, Toriumi Kousuke, and Eguchi Takuya.
The jump from game to movie probably isn’t surprising to fans of the series. In the last 5 years, Tokimeki Restaurant has turned into an extensive mixed media project that’s released CDs, books, merchandise, collaboration events, and even virtual reality concerts!
For those who aren’t familiar with the game, the premise is that you are the owner of a restaurant that is frequented by six handsome men who happen to be idols from two different music groups! While they are romantic interests, players also enjoy other aspects such as cooking and completing quests that unlock all sorts of exciting scenes and dialogue!
