Oda Eiichiro’s One Piece has been running in Weekly Shonen Jump since July 1997 and welcomes its 20th anniversary in 2017. In celebration of this landmark event, a special mook is set for publication across three months this summer.
Beginning with volume one on Jul. 7, the series is expected to include extensive interviews with Oda Eiichiro as well as the first novelisation dedicated to supporting character Portgas D. Ace. Terada Katsuya will also be providing opening illustrations for the Ace novel which will be titled ONE PIECE Novel A.
ONE PIECE novel Straw Hat Crew, a series of short episodes centring on characters from the One Piece universe, will also be included in the magazines as well as the One Piece Picture Book which features tales from the childhood of Luffy, Ace, and Sabo in the form of a children’s picture book. A realistic Monkey D. Luffy wanted poster will also be given away with volume one.
