Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale is holding a talk show and screening event to commemorate its huge success in theaters!
Set for June 10 at Kawasaki Cinecitta’, “Celebrating Success: Live Zound Triumphal Return Screening with Talk Event” will show the movie with Live Zound high efficiency German speakers. After the screening, director Ito Tomohiko and sound director Iwanami Yoshikazu will talk about the synergy of sound effects and video. Advance tickets for the are available from June 3 at Cinecitta’ for 2,000 yen.
Ordinal Scale was a huge hit in and outside Japan, grossing a total of 2.5 billion yen in Japan and 3.35 billion yen worldwide. It premiered in France on May 17, taking 3rd place in the daily ranking, and it will also premiere in Italy and Vietnam, which will further boost its already impressive numbers.
