Resident Evil: Vendetta Releases 15 second Trailer

The CGI anime movie inspired by the Resident Evil universe, Resident Evil: Vendetta, will be released in cinemas across Japan from May 27. A 15 second trailer is now streaming via the official website and the KADOKAWAanime YouTube channel.

Based on Capcom’s survival horror game series, the movie features classic characters from the franchise as well as new characters. BSAA Chris Redfield teams up with DSO government agent Leon S. Kennedy to combat “death merchant” Glen Arias who plans to release a deadly virus in New York. Former S.T.A.R.S member Rebecca Chambers, now a university professor, is also expected to appear in the movie.

The action packed trailer features exciting scenes of Leon firing a pistol and cool slow motion footage. HiGH&LOW’s Tsujimoto Takanori is directing the movie with Psycho-Pass' Fukami Makoto writing the script, and Ghost in the Shell's Kawai Kenji composing the musical score.

Resident Evil: Vendetta is released in Japan on May 27 and you can follow all the latest details via the movie’s official website and Twitter.
