“Hitorigoto” by ClariS Chosen as Eromanga Sensei Opening Theme!

The opening theme to the upcoming Eromanga Sensei anime series has finally been revealed! The song is titled “Hitorigoto” by ClariS, and it was announced as a surprise at the duo’s concert “ClariS 1st Budokan Concert ~Futatsu no Kamen to Ushinawareta Taiyou~” held on Feb. 10.

ClariS made their major debut with “Irony,” the opening song of Oreimo in 2010, and have gone on to make music for other anime including the Puella Magi Madoka Magica series, and now Eromanga Sensei.

Similarly to the cultic Oreimo series, Eromanga Sensei is based on the light novel authored by Fushimi Tsukasa and illustrated by Kanzaki Hiro, and is produced by A-1 Pictures.

“Hitorigoto” will also be released as a single on April 26, and it will be available in a first press limited edition (with DVD) for 1,620 yen, an anime edition for 1,350 yen, and a regular edition for 1,260 yen (all prices include tax).

TV anime Eromanga Sensei airs in April 2017 on Tokyo MX, BS11, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, MBS, and TV Aichi!
