JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable - Part One got a lot of attention on New Year’s after a visual of Higashikata Josuke was released. We’re even closer to the Aug. 4 release date and now there are visuals of Josuke’s classmates Hirose Koichi and Yamagishi Yukako to enjoy!
Koichi (played by Kamiki Ryunosuke), the object of Yukako’s affections, is depicted in his school uniform. Kamiki has been attracting a lot of attention for his role as Tachibana Taki in Kimi no Na wa. ( your name. ) and will also be starring in Sangatsu no Lion ( March Comes in like a Lion ) as Kiriyama Rei.
The visual shows him with his hair back, and you can’t help but be excited to see how this likable character is depicted in the movie.
As for Yukako, she’s being played by the young and talented Komatsu Nana who starred in 2016’s Oboreru Knife as protagonist Mochizuki Natsume and even took on a difficult role in the Martin Scorsese film Silence, which is centered around underground Christianity.
Yukako is a highly talented girl, known for her long, wavy hair who’s both intelligent and capable in skills like cooking and sewing, and it’ll be exciting to see Komatsu’s take on her. She has a daring and mysterious air in the visual, so it will also be interesting to see how this character approaches Koichi.
