Cardcaptor Sakura Sequel to Launch in Nakayoshi’s July issue

In celebration of Cardcaptor Sakura’s 20th anniversary, a new manga sequel will be released by CLAMP in July’s issue of Nakayoshi magazine. The magazine goes on sale June 3rd. The sequel will take place in Sakura’s first year of junior high.

On top of that, as part of the celebration, a compilation of previous illustrations was released for 3,600 yen] (about USD$34) and the Clow Card arc of the Cardcaptor Sakura anime began rerunning on NHK's BS Premium every Wednesday starting April 6. Also, a frame stamp set with new illustrations from CLAMP was released and a Cardcaptor Sakura themed cafe by Animate has opened in various locations.

Scheduled to be held in Sendai and Okayama from June 1st (Wednesday).
