Hunter x Hunter to be Brought to Life With New Stage Play!

Popular manga Hunter x Hunter will be taking to the stage again next May at Tokyo’s Tennozu Galaxy Theater!

The 30-second trailer gives fans the chance to hear the specially composed main theme by Go Sakabe.

Based on the manga by Yoshihiro Togashi, Hunter x Hunter follows a young man named Gon Freecss, who sets off to become a Hunter after learning that his father is not dead as he had been led to believe.

The new stage play will cover the Hunter Exam arc, in which Gon meets Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio, as well as the Zoldyck Family arc, in which Gon and the others set off to rescue Killua after he is dragged back home by his brother Illumi.

15-year-old Shion Otomo will play Gon alongside Nichika Akutsu as Killua, Yuki Ogoe as Kurapika, Shori Kondo as Leorio, Kandai Ueda as Illumi, and Haruki Kiyama as Hisoka.

Hunter x Hunter’s new stage play will run at Tennozu Galaxy Theater from May 12 to 28, 2023. Ticketing information and the performance schedule will be revealed in due course.
