My Hero Academia -Heroes: Rising- Previews Main Theme in Trailer!

Upcoming anime movie My Hero Academia the Movie: Heroes Rising has released another trailer ahead of its Dec. 20 opening!

In addition to explosive battle footage, the trailer features "Higher Ground", the movie’s main titles theme by rock band Sumika. Fans also have the opportunity to hear the voices of new characters Nine and Slice, played by Inoue Yoshio and Imada Mio respectively.

Originally created by Horikoshi Kouhei and currently running in Weekly Shonen Jump, My Hero Academia is set in a world in which possessing superpowers known as “Quirks” is the norm. The series follows Midoriya Izuku (known as Deku), a Quirkless student of superhero academy U.A. High School.

My Hero Academia the Movie: Heroes Rising opens in Toho cinemas across Japan on Dec. 20.
