A spin-off from the original anime, the movie revolves around Isabella, a young lady from a good family who attends an elite ladies’ college under a “contract” with her father. However, the beautiful school with its white camellias in bloom is nothing more than a prison to her. Having lost all hope for her future, Isabella's life takes a different turn when Violet Evergarden arrives as her new teacher.
Additional character settings and cast information have also been released. Kotobuki Minako will play Isabella York, and Yuki Aoi will play Taylor Bartlett, a young girl without a family who comes to see Violet.
Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memories Doll will be screened in Japan for three weeks only from Sept. 6 to 26.
