Anime director Shinkai Makoto and Japanese rock band Radwimps will be teaming up once again to provide music for the former's latest film, Weathering with You.
Shinkai’s smash hit Kimi no Na wa., released in 2016, marked their first collaboration, in which Radwimps created the highly acclaimed soundtrack. The new trailer for Weathering with You features its theme song, “Ai ni Dekiru Koto wa Mada Arukai”, for the first time.
Weathering with You follows a young boy who runs away from his island home to Tokyo, where he meets a strange girl with the power to control the weather.
Weathering with You opens in Japanese cinemas on Jul. 19.
