Adventure series Vinland Saga has released its first trailer for its TV anime adaptation, which is set to air in 2019!
Based on the manga by Yukimura Makoto, Vinland Saga is a historical series inspired by the Viking legends. The protagonist Thorfinn, a physically gifted teenager who has grown up on the battlefield, sets his sights on finding the mythic “Vinland”.
In addition to its first trailer, Vinland Saga has also released its second key visual which features Thors looking out at the sea at night with Thorfinn asleep beside him.
A few members of the main voice cast have also been confirmed including Ishigami Shizuka as the young Thorfinn, Uemura Yuto as the grown up Thorfinn, and Matsuda Kenichirou as Thorfinn’s father Thors.
On the creative front, Tokyo Ghoul's Yamada Yutaka will be joining the team as composer.
Vinland Saga will air sometime in 2019.
