New Fruits Basket Anime Reveals PV and Character Designs!

The new TV anime adaptation of Fruits Basketin both their human and zodiac forms) has released a PV featuring Iwami Manaka narrating as protagonist Honda Tohru! Character designs of Tohru, Kyon, Yuki, and Shigure in both their human and zodiac forms have also been revealed.

The adaptation is based on the beloved manga of the same name by Takaya Natsuki that was serialized in Hana to Yume. It follows high school student Tohru Honda, who lives on her own in a tent after the death of her mother until she ends up moving in with the family of her classmates, Sohma Kyo, Yuki and Shigure. She soon discovers that the Shigure family members are under a curse where they are possessed by animals of the Chinese zodiac.

Fruits Basket is slated to air sometime in 2019.
