Detective Conan's 23rd Movie Confirms Title!

The Detective Conan movie series will be back on Apr. 12, 2019 with its 23rd entry, titled Konjou no Fist!

In a series first, the movie sees Conan travel overseas to Singapore where he and gentleman thief Kaitou Kid become embroiled in a conspiracy involving a murder in Marina Bay Sands and the mysterious “Blue Sapphire” which sank to the bottom of the ocean in the late 19th century.

This entry will also mark the first movie appearance of karate master Kyougoku Makoto, who has a certain history with Kuroba Kaito, having previously fought over Makoto’s girlfriend, Suzuki Sonoko. After Kaito has dragged Conan to Singapore against his will, Makoto appears on the scene and sparks a three-way battle.

Designed by original author Aoyama Goushou, the movie’s key visual features the famous Singaporean landmark Marina Bay Sands with Kaitou smirking while staring into the eyes of Ran. Meanwhile, Conan reaches out almost as if to the audience at the bottom, while Makoto stands back to back with Sonoko in the background.

Detective Conan: Konjou no Fist opens on Apr. 12 at cinemas across Japan.
