Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara, an original anime produced by P.A.Works ( Angel Beats!, Shirobako, Nagi-Asu: A Lull in the Sea ), has confirmed its premiere for Oct. 5.
Set in Nagasaki, the story follows 17-year-old Tsukishiro Hitomi in a world where some magic remains. Although she is descended from a long line of witches, she lost her sense of color at an early age and grew up with only a shallow capacity for human emotion. Worried for her future, Hitomi’s grandmother sends her back in time to 2018.
In addition to confirming the broadcast date, the show has also released a series of character settings.
Series protagonist Tsukishiro Hitomi (C.V. Ishihara Kaori) is a high school student who runs away from anything to do with magic.
Tsukishiro Kohaku (C.V. Honda Kaede) is the high school version of Hitomi’s grandmother.
Aoi Shou (C.V. Chiba Shouya) is a third-year member of the photo club.
Kazano Asagi (C.V. Ichinose Kana) is a classmate who feels an affinity with Hitomi.
Kawai Kurumi (C.V. Touyama Nao) is a third-year student and member of the photo club.
Yamabuki Sho (C.V. Maeda Seiji) is a third-year student and head of the photo club.
Fukasawa Chigusa (C.V. Murase Ayumu) is a first-year student who’s been coming to the photography club even starting at the school.
Iroduku Sekai no Ashita kara is slated to air from Oct. 5 with simultaneous streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
