New Kuroko's Basketball Play Promises Climax to Winter Cup!

Hit sports manga Kuroko’s Basketball has a new stage play in the works set to begin sometime in Spring 2019!

Kuroko’s Basketball ULTIMATE-BLAZE will once again be directed by Nakayashiki Norihito with a script by Ryuzaki Daichi. The plot will revolve around the climax of the Winter Cup, one of the three biggest basketball tournaments for high schools around Japan.

The announcement also came with a colorful, if not serious, teaser visual featuring Kuroko, Kagami, and the rest of the Generation of Miracles. Cast members have been confirmed as the following: Ono Kenshou as Kuroko Tetsuya, Asato Yuuya as Kagami Taiga, Kuroba Mario as Kise Ryouta, Hatekeyama Ryou as Midorima Shintarou, Onuma Shouta as Aomine Daiki, Ayukawa Taiyou as Murasakibara Atsushi, and Itokawa Youjirou as Akashi Seijyuuryou.
