The third season for the anime adaptation of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. has officially been announced!
The decision is not a complete surprise, as the possibility of a sequel was initially teased in June 2018 with the final episode of Season 2. No other details have been revealed, though fans should expect more news to drop through Weekly Shonen Jump sometime in Oct.
A gag series created by mangaka Asou Shuichi, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. follows the unusual life of high school student Kusuo Saiki, who is gifted with various psychic abilities. Despite this, he’s determined to live as normal a life as he can, keeping his abilities secret from his classmates. More often than not, though, mysterious bouts of disaster seems to befall all of them.
Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since May 2012, the series has not only been adapted into a TV anime but also a live action film that premiered in Oct. 2017.
