Vocaloid diva Hatsune Miku is embracing traditional culture with a fantastically detailed figure from Good Smile Company!
The figure features Miku in the role of courtesan Keisei Hatsune Dayu in the kabuki play Kuruwa Kotoba Awase Kagami, which she performed at the 2017 Niconico Chokaigi.
Perched on distinctive wedge shoes, the 1/7 scale figure includes all the intricate details of her vibrant costume, including the 3D butterflies on the front.
The figure also uses transparent parts for the butterfly resting on her finger as well as Miku's tapering hair and yellow headdress.
The back of her kimono is also sculpted in breathtaking detail with its numerous layers and folds, plus the magnificently illustrated bird motif.
The Hatsune Miku: Chokabuki Kuruwa Kotoba Awase Kagami Ver. 1/7 Scale Figure is currently available for preorder ahead of an Oct. 2019 release.
