Sanrio Puroland plans to go all out this Halloween with a Puro Halloween Party!
Located in Tokyo, this indoor theme park dedicated to Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty and My Melody will host the spooky yet partytastic event from Sept. 14 to Oct. 31. This year's theme will be “Halloween Rock.”
The attractions and rides that attendees can enjoy actually depend on the time of day. During the day, “Daytime Paripi Time” is for party people who just want to have a cute and relaxing time. Appropriate for all ages, attendees can be greeted by characters that’ve dressed up in their super cute Halloween costumes. Yummy food with character motifs (themed after Halloween, of course) is also promised.
However, once the sun starts to set, “Nighttime Horapi Time” begins, which is age-restricted and dedicated to those who love a great scare! Take your chances on the "completely inescapable" Dark Sanrio Character Boat Ride or go to see the lively Halloween Rock Live Parade, which will give you something to hoop and holler about.
Those who want something that’ll induce heart palpitations will also be catered to in the form of Puroland's Ghost Clown’s Sneaking Horror House! This ride is in collaboration with Okaben, a haunted house escape room that aims to scare with creepy surroundings, blood splatters, chains, and more.
A superb mix of both cute and creepy, the event will also have all the photo spots, merchandise, and delicious foods, drinks, and snacks that anyone could want at a theme park.
