Live action webdrama Gintama 2: Yonimo Kimyou na Gintama-chan finally begun, with episode one streaming from Aug. 18 through on dTV!
Only the first five minutes are available on YouTube, but it already has well over 3 million views. The first episode follows the “Nemurenai Aru” story in which Kagura is trapped in a loop of not being able to sleep and, as a result, keeps Gintoki awake. With Kagura unable to sleep, Gintoki does everything he can to help her. The fate of their beauty sleep depends on this battle, but will they survive the night?!
Gintama 2: Yonimo Kimyou na Gintama-chan is the second season of the webdrama spinoff to the live action Gintama movies. The season consists of three episodes, the first titled Nemurenai Aru, focussing on Kagura (Hashimoto Kanna) and Gintoki (Oguri Shun), the second Hijkata Kinen, starring "Demon Vice Commander" Hijikata Toushirou, and the third Ikutsu ni Nattemo Haisha wa Iya, featuring Gintoki and Hijikata's visit to the dentist.
