Two Fate/Grand Order Anime Projects in the Works!

Smartphone app Fate/Grand Order marked its third anniversary with the announcement of not one, but two new anime projects!

Firstly, the game’s popular “Order VI: The Sacred Round Table Realm: Camelot” storyline will be heading to the big screen as a two-part movie with the first part to be titled Wandering; Agateram and the second Paladin; Agateram. Production I.G will be handling the animation, with Takeuchi Takeshi serving as lead character designer and Haga Keita and Kawasaki Ryou composing the music.

The second project is a TV anime for 2019 titled Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Maju Sensen Babylonia. Based on the game’s "Order VII: The Absolute Frontline in the War Against the Demonic Beasts: Babylonia" arc, the anime will be produced by Clover Works with Takeuchi Takeshi again in the role of lead character designer and Akai Toshifumi as director. Kuroki Miyuki is serving as assistant director and Takase Tomoaki as character designer. Haga Keita and Kawasaki Ryou are also composing the TV anime's music.

An official website and Twitter account were also launched. While details are still sparse, a teaser video featuring popular characters like Gilgamesh and Merlin has been released.

Both new projects have credited Fate/stay night writer Kinoko Nasu and game company Type-Moon as the original creators.
