New visuals and trailers introducing new characters in the upcoming film The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky have been revealed together!
Created by Suzuki Nakaba, the movie's story begins when The Seven Deadly Sins come across a kingdom in the sky inhabited by winged people. Naturally, the crew finds themselves in the middle of a disaster in the making when members of the Demon Clan let loose an ancient beast to wreak havoc in the inhabitants.
The film features original characters such as winged individuals like Sorada (Yonaga Tsubasa) and Ellatte (Tomatsu Haruka), whose strange resemblance to Meliodas and Elizabeth respectively causes issues early on. Meanwhile, the main villain Bellion (Morikawa Toshiyuki) comes with his own unsightly gang of followers like the whip-wielding Gala (Hikasa Youko) and the lion-like Delokio (Amada Masuo).
The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky premieres in Japan on Aug. 18.
