The live action film adaptation of Bleach is opening in theaters on July 20, and it's pumping up fans even more with three new PVs!
Each preview focusses on one of three characters: Kurosaki Ichigo, Kuchiki Rukia, and Ishida Uryu.
The first stars Ichigo, a relatively ordinary high schooler - aside from his ability to see ghosts. Having discovered the threat around his town, he's absolutely determined to protect his friends and family. Ichigo is portrayed by Fukushi Souta in the film adaptation.
The second centers around Rukia, played by Sugisaki Hana. She is a Shinigami who cuts down the Hollows who attack humans and is the one who gives Shinigami powers to Ichigo. She could receive the death penalty for what she did, so what will become of her…?
The third focusses on a classmate of Ichigo and also a supremely intelligent student, Ishida Uryu. Portrayed by Yoshizawa Ryou, he is soon revealed to be a Quincy, a race with the ability to detect Hollows and the absolute opposite of Shinigami. He fights against Hollows alongside Ichigo, but why?
Bleach is slated to premiere in Japan on Jul. 20.
