Tokyo Ghoul:re Season 2 to Premiere in Oct. 2018!

The second season of Tokyo Ghoul:re is scheduled to premiere in Japan in Oct. 2018!

The news was revealed in volume 28 of Weekly Young Jump, which went on sale Jun. 14. A teaser visual was also released, showing protagonists Kaneki Ken and Kirishima Touka sitting amid the devastation of an abandoned cityscape.

A sequel to popular dark fantasy anime Tokyo Ghoul, which is based on Ishida Sui's manga of the same name, Tokyo Ghoul:re follows Sasaki Haise and the Quinx Squad, a group of humans who have each undergone treatment to give themselves Ghoul powers and are now part-Ghoul themselves.

The first season of Tokyo Ghoul:re premiered in Apr. 2018 with 12 episodes in all.
