3. Amuro Toru, Detective Conan
Coming in 3rd with 3% of the vote (and surpassing Conan himself!) is talented agent Amuro Toru of Detective Conan! He was one of the leading characters in the recent movie Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer, and even got his own spinoff manga, so he’s been getting quite a bit of extra attention recently - but watch out for his more secretive side!
2. Kirito, Sword Art Online
Following up in 2nd with a solid 5% of the vote is Kirito of Sword Art Online. We get to see him constantly protecting Asuna while being incredibly skilled at playing through the different worlds in which he finds himself, so anyone would be safe under an umbrella as long as Kirito is at their side!
1. Sakata Gintoki, Gintama
Taking 1st with a phenomenal 9% of the vote is Sakata Gintoki of Gintama. He’s been voted as a fan favorite in list after list, from an ideal travel companion to one of Weekly Shonen Jump's most powerful protagonists. Not only that, but Gintoki's bizarre sense of humor is also sure to brighten you up even when you're suffering from rainy day blues!
