Alibaba's Tmall Global Signs Official Partnership with Tokyo Otaku Mode

On May 18, 2018, Alibaba's Tmall Global has signed a strategic partnership with Tokyo Otaku Mode.

Tokyo Otaku Mode, best known for quirky and fun Japanese products such as Sushi Socks in the Greater China region, has signed a partnership with Alibaba's Tmall Global.

In China, Tokyo Otaku Mode is the official online store for characters such as the Pokémon franchise and Kumamon, bridging Japanese culture with Chinese fans.

Apart from being the exclusive online store for Pokémon and Kumamon, Tokyo Otaku Mode is also officially licensed with over 100 popular anime and manga series including Kizuna AI, EVANGELION, Eromanga Sensei, Spice and Wolf, Cardcaptor Sakura, Sword Art Online and more globally.

It's the 3rd anniversary of Tokyo Otaku Mode's store on Tmall Global, so fans can enjoy a special campaign including Pokémon lucky bags, coupons, and a plushie giveaway.

Tokyo Otaku Mode will continue to serve fans globally bridging the Japanese anime, manga, and game industry to the rest of the world.
