Studio Ghibli classic My Neighbor Totoro has been paired with classic Japanese pottery for a new collaboration!
Several beloved Totoro motifs have been brought to life through Shigaraki ware. This style is noted for being one of Japan’s “Six Ancient Kilns", with the Shigaraki area being one of the oldest pottery centers in the country. Each item is handmade by artisans in a style only achievable through Shigaraki ware, bringing Totoro to life in a whole new way.
The lineup includes several beautiful items, beginning with a three Totoro ornament set and a grinning Totoro lamp.
Handy everyday objects like chopstick rests and cups are also up for grabs! After all, who wouldn’t want to see these cute little faces everyday?
