With so many travel-related episodes in anime, have you ever wondered which character would be the most fun to go on a trip with?
The female edition of Anime!Anime!'s survey featured a ton of knowledgeable and exciting characters, with popular names like the brilliant navigator Nami and archaeologist Nico Robin of One Piece, plus Mine Fujiko of Lupin III appeared, as well! To find out how the male characters fared check here, but first let's find out who managed to make it to the top for female travel companions!
1. Kino, Kino's Journey: the Beautiful World
First up is protagonist Kino of Kino’s Journey: the Beautiful World. As seen in the anime, Kino is an intelligent and level-headed traveler who would certainly help along the way no matter what happens.
1. Shima Rin, Yuru Camp
Next is the charming Shima Rin of Yuru Camp. This light-hearted anime set in Yamanashi prefecture is about high school girls camping, with Rin getting her start to the pastime due to her grandfather’s influence. She’s quite good at it, as well, so she’s an excellent choice to go camping with and check out all sorts of great sights with!
Last but certainly not least (and still in 1st!) is Rem of Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World. It seems that many fans want to go to Italy or Hawaii with her - both of which would certainly seem a lot more beautiful having Rem as a companion!
That's right - not only was there a huge tie for the lower places, but first place also had not one, not two, but three wonderful female characters! Is there anyone else you would take on a trip?
