The film's official Twitter has also released promotional images featuring each of the characters rocking a peace sign for the second film, as well as comments on the upcoming film.
The first live action instalment premiered on Jul. 14, 2017, with the final count for box office revenue sitting at around 3.84 billion yen.
Gintama 2 (tentative title) is slated to premiere in Japan on Aug. 17, 2018.
