FGO to Feature in Hokusai-Inspired Ukiyo-e Light and Water Displays!

Fate/Grand Order will be taking part in hokusai & TOKYO Colorful Waterside Edo Festival on Mar. 17 with a series of water projection displays featuring characters from the popular smartphone game.

As part of the event, a huge water projection screen measuring 40m x 20m will be installed at Odaiba Kaihin park. The images displayed are themed around legendary artist Hokusai and feature the Fate/Grand Order Servants including Mash Kyrielight, Shuten Douji, Kiyohime, and Miyamoto Musashi in elegant illustrations in the style of ukiyo-e.

The video artwork has been created under the supervision of Shochiku by Creative Company and Naked. Utilising the latest technology, the images will be projected on both sides of the screen and can be viewed either from the park or from pleasure boats out on the lake.

The hokusai & TOKYO Colorful Waterside Edo Festival takes place in Odaiba Kaihin park on Mar. 17 from 11:00 am−9:00 pm.
