On Feb. 26, Good Smile Company will open preorders for Misaka Mikoto, the main protagonist from Kamachi Kazuma’s A Certain Scientific Railgun! If this lovely figurine seems at all familiar, it’s because its a repainted version of a similar figure that was previously released.
For this particular occasion, Misaka has abandoned her tomboyish ways and slipped into a mini cheongsam! A stark black with gold accents, this one is decidedly different from the orange one that she’s worn before. Nevertheless, the adorable gathering of Gekota remains the same!
Dressed properly for the part, Misaka even has her hair styled into neat buns, complete with cute bun covers! While one hand rests on her hip, the other is busy balancing a plate with a wooden basket and assortment of Gekota dumplings.
The finishing touches include an innocent smile and stunning red heels. Atop the reflective scarlet base, Misaka makes for an eye-catching display at any angle.
This version will be available for 12,000 yen and has a tentative release date of Mar. 2018. Worthy for any fan of A Certain Scientific Railgun, be sure to place your orders before she’s taken off the menu for good!
