J-WORLD TOKYO will be hosting a limited time only Haikyu!! event this January! Taking inspiration from the franchise’s setting, there will be a selection of limited edition menu items on sale in the park during the event using ingredients from Miyashiro prefecture.
The “Karasuno Supports Miyashiro” set includes a fried oyster and cheddar cheese rice bowl with a miso soup with a soft boiled egg in it as well as a side dish of pickled aubergine with sasa kamaboko.
The Oikawa and Iwaizumi pear and grape cake represents Aoba, including a chocolate volleyball and fun dharma motif.
The Shiratorizawa Academy themed set also features local delicacy beef tongue in a beef curry with white rice, salad, fried pilchards, and sasa kamaboko.
The Aone and Futakuchi cake, representing Date, features a matcha cake with mashed soybean mochi on the top as well as a chocolate helmet and Kokeshi doll.
There will also be a selection of exclusive prizes on offer at the various mini games including a set of badges, acrylic stands and stickers.
75mm round badges will also be on sale at the J-WORLD store.
The Haikyu!! Miyashiro Fes in J-WORLD TOKYO event runs from Jan. 13 to Feb. 25.
