Anime compilation movie Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru ~Makuai Kaisouroku~, which summarizes the events of the first anime season, premiered on Dec. 2.
Fans who made their way to Toho Cinemas Shinjuku were in for an extra special treat, as members of the cast and creative team made an appearance to officially launch the second season of the TV anime with a brand new visual!
Voice actors Ichiki Mitsuhiro (Yamatonokami Yasusada), Masuda Toshiki (Kashuu Kiyomitsu), Shingaki Tarusuke (Heshikiri Hasebe / Nagasone Kotetsu), and Hanae Natsuki (Higekiri) all appeared on stage at the premiere to offer their comments on filming the first season as well as announce the latest info on season two.
The second season of Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru airs from Jan. 7, 2018.
