Ash and Pikachu Journey With Lapras in New G.E.M Figure!

2017 was a huge milestone for the Pokémon anime series - not only is it celebrating its 20th anniversary, but it also reached 1,000 episodes this month! And that’s not all 2017 holds, as Premium Bandai has started accepting preorders for a new PVC figure called “G.E.M. Series Pokémon Ash & Pikachu & Lapras”!

Established in 2009, the G.E.M. Series is a line of 1/8 scale figures by MegaHouse that features characters from popular anime including Bleach, Naruto, Gintama, Ao no Exorcist, Digimon, and more.

Standing about 6.7” tall, this composition captures Ash and Pikachu riding on Lapras, who is sliding on the water with Ash grabbing onto its carapace. Meanwhile, Pikachu is merrily navigating from the top of its head! Lapras are as intelligent as they are gentle, and they are known as “Transport Pokémon” for their love of ferrying people across the sea.

“G.E.M. Series Pokémon Ash & Pikachu & Lapras” is sold exclusively on Premium Bandai for 9,990 yen, which also includes an A4 clear file featuring the figure as a bonus.
