Oda Eiichiro’s phenomenally popular manga One Piece is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2017, and what better way to mark the occasion than with a limited edition watch crafted by top watchmaker Seiko?
Themed around lead character Monkey D. Luffy, the watch face has a deep red graded design with the Straw Hat Pirates’ flag on side and the compass on the other.
The yellow stopwatch hand also has a unique design featuring Luffy and an anchor.
The 20th anniversary watches are strictly limited edition, with 5000 pieces only. Each individual serial number will be engraved on the back of the case along with the Straw Hat Pirates’ symbol and 20th anniversary logo.
Retailing for 44,800 yen (excluding tax and shipping), the watches come packaged in a custom presentation box and are available for purchase as of Oct. 23. For more information, visit the official collaboration page.
