Shopping Guide
Anime Tamago is a service project that was established by Japan’s Agency of Cultural Affairs to support and encourage the growth of young animators who will become the future of the anime industry. The project has given birth to creative and ambitious works that are known by anime fans worldwide, such as STUDIO4℃’s Little Witch Academia, MAD HOUSE’s Death Parade, and TRIGGER’s Red Ash.
The works and key visuals that will be screened next year at Anime Tamago 2018 were announced on October 20th.
Midnight Crazy Trail
Summary:
Shout and Crunch are a duo that work in the garbage collecting business. One day, a 16-year-old witch named Makina came to London in the human world so she could study how to become a wonderful bride for a year. Makina finds the two and hires them to throw away her “witch’s book.” Actually, Makina wants to quit being a witch so she can become a normal girl, but her magic book, which is the intermediary between her and her magic, is getting in her way! However, that book is not something that can be thrown away so easily...
Milky Panic twelve
Summary:
Milky Town is becoming overrun with invalids! Many animals drink the milk from Milking Company, but their ears become sharp and cat-like and they lose all motivation. Everything is part of Inventor Cat Milking’s plan to take over the world! However, at that time, the cowboy tiger Ippon from the Charmy Ranch just happened to come home from his wandering travels. When Ippon realized the situation, he banded together with his friends the rats to rise up and save the city!
Engimon
Summary:
The “engimon” friends Haruo (a papier-mâché dog), Kin-chan (a goldfish-shaped paper balloon), Hebizou (a bamboo snake), Chief Daruma (a daruma doll), and Koume (a wooden doll) always watch over the siblings Yamato and Himo, who live in the Milky Way house in the City of the Seven Lucky Gods. One day, Himi chased after a maneki-neko (beckoning cat) that appeared out of nowhere and disappeared from the house. Although Yamato was surprised when the engimon friends suddenly started moving, he soon went to rescue Himi! Will the engimon’s lucky powers be enough to find Himi?!
TIME DRIVER: The Future We Drew
Summary:
Yuto Matsubara is a 27-year-old who works in the sales department of a major toy maker, but since he’s unable to follow his dreams he spends his days depressed and unmotivated. One day, after completely giving up on getting his childhood friend Ai to love him, the robot he drew when he was a child appeared before his eyes! The robot, named “Time Driver,” turns the power of dreams into energy to move. Yuto was forced into the cockpit, where a little 12-year-old version of himself was waiting!
