Mobile Suit Gundam is coming to VR Zone Shinjuku this fall! There will be two scenarios you can choose from: “Gundam Unicorn VR Gekitotsu Daiba Joku” and “Kido Senshi Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna VR Prototype Ver.”.
VR Zone Shinjuku is Japan’s largest VR entertainment facility and allows visitors to experience the world of anime in a realistic way. It also offers activities that don’t require VR goggles and interactive projection mapping, as well as an restaurant area, appealing to all five senses.
“Gundam Unicorn VR Gekitotsu Daiba Joku” is based on the 20-meter tall Gundam statue in Odaiba. In this scenario, you are dragged into an aerial battle clinging to the hand of a life-sized hand of the Unicorn Gundam as it takes a full frontal attack from the Sinanju.
“Kido Senshi Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna VR Prototype Ver.” is the VR prototype version of the popular arcade game by the same name. In this version, you devise a plan in the strategy room and participate in a 4v4 fight. After the battle is over, you can also review your movements (and those of your teammates) on a live monitor.
“Gundam Unicorn VR Gekitotsu Daiba Joku” opened on Sep. 24, while “Kido Senshi Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna VR Prototype Ver.” will be available from Nov. 10 for a limited period.
