Fate/Apocrypha has announced that a recap episode titled “Great Holy Grail War: The Curtain Rises” will air from Sep. 23!
Based on Higashide Yuichiro’s novel of the same name, Fate/Apocrypha is a spin-off that takes places in an alternative universe. The anime is produced by A-1 Pictures ( Ao no Exorcist: Kyoto Fujouou-hen ) and directed by Asai Yoshiyuki ( Bungo Stray Dogs ) with series composition by Higashide Yuichiro ( Fate/Grand Order game scenario).
Fate/Apocrypha premiered on July 1, finishing its 1st cour with Episode 12 on Sep. 16. This special episode will recap the events of the first twelve episodes with newly recorded narration by Sieg (CV: Hanae Natsuki) and Ruler (CV: Sakamoto Maaya), tying it in with the upcoming cour.
Ep. 12.5 “Great Holy Grail War: The Curtain Rises” will air at late night on Sep. 23 on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV and Sep. 26 on MBS.
