Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale Launches Virtual Idol Yuna Campaign!

Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale is released on Blu-ray/DVD on Sept. 27 and Animate stores across Japan will be hosting a special celebratory event in which fans can battle a boss and get a reward from Virtual Idol Yuna.

On Sept. 26, 27, 30, and Oct. 1, different bosses will appear on stage in each store and fans will be able to receive one of four Ordinal Scale wallpapers by calling out “Ordinal Scale Kidou!” to shop staff wearing boss insignia.

The Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale Blu-ray/DVD will be released on Sept. 27 and is available in limited (BD 9,000 yen / DVD 8,000 yen) and regular (BD 5,800 yen / DVD 4,800 yen) editions.

The limited edition set comes with a brand new light novel penned by Kawahara Reki and illustrated by abec plus box art designed by animation director Adachi Shingo, a 108 page booklet, and a bonus CD.

Customers purchasing the limited edition sets from Animate will also receive a PVC pass case and A3 clear file!
