Osomatsu-san Oktoberfest Visual & Season 2 Event Revealed!

The long-awaited 2nd season of Osomatsu-san is finally coming out in October, and to commemorate that, there’ll be a special event titled “The 6 Boys are Back! Everyone Gather! Totoko’s Also The Best♪”. A special visual was released for this, and fans who go to the event will get to watch an early screening of an episode!

Osomatsu-san is an anime based on the well-known manga by Akatsuka Fujio, Osomatsu-kun, and the 1st season aired from Oct. 2015 through Mar. 2016. It follows the 6 brothers who have grown into troublemaking adults, and it was such an instant hit that it was nominated for the 2016 Shingo Ryuukou Go Taisho award.

The visual that was released was themed around Oktoberfest, held in Germany in the fall. The 6 brothers are dressed for the occasion while Totoko also appears by their side with beer for a bright and fun illustration.

There will also be a talk show event held with 7 voice actors (all of the brothers and Totoko) and viewers will get to watch an early screening of an episode from season 2! Live viewings will be held in 101 different movie theaters around Japan, and the 2nd round of raffle tickets to go closes on Aug. 29 at 11:59 pm.

A special Osomatsu-san photo booth can also be found at JOL Harajuku until Aug. 31, where you can get a picture with the 6 brothers doing their famous “sheeh” pose! Plus, there's a ball pit filled with plastic balls in each brother’s color, which is sure to make for another fun photo op. You can score a coupon for JOL Harajuku by posting a picture with the hashtag #原宿でおそ松 (Osomatsu in Harajuku), too!
