Fate/Grand Order Announces Arcade Game and VR Adaptations

Fate/Grand Order Fes. 2017: 2nd Anniversary took place at Makuhari Messe from July 29 - 30.

Taking to the stage, members of the cast and crew including Takahashi Rie (Mash Kyrielight) and Kawasumi Ayako (Artoria Pendragon) unveiled the latest information about where the franchise is headed in the future.

The first announcements concerned manga adaptations, including the beginning of two new series beginning in September: Fate/Grand Order -mortalis:stella- in Monthly Comic Zero Sum, and Fate/Grand Order -turas realta- in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. The official site will also begin publishing Manga de Wakaru! Fate/Grand Order (1) from Aug. 2.

Creative director Shiokawa Yousuke also took to the stage to announce the latest developments in the FGO Project including the VR experience Fate/Grand Order VR feat. Mash which will be available via the PlayStation Store in the winter of 2017. There will also be an opportunity for Tokyo based fans to get an early look at the game throughout August with a special installation at Karaoke Adores Akihabara.

Fate/Grand Order will also be getting an arcade game adaptation set for release in 2018 in which players will be able to control 3D versions of the characters from the smart phone RPG and battle with their friends.
