Carry Your Favorite Gintama Characters Around with Unique Voice Compact Charms!

Bandai’s Girls’ Toy Department is releasing a line of Gintama Voice Compacts in mid-October! It comes in five versions, Gintoki, Kagura, Takasugi, Kamui, and a secret character. You can’t choose a particular compact as they're blind-boxed, but that's just another part of the fun!

Measuring 5.5 cm (about 2.2”), each compact is decorated with an illustration of the characters and features three to four newly recorded phrases from the character’s voice actor that you can play by pushing the button on the inside. They also come with a ball chain, so you can even carry them around like a charm and enjoy the company of your favorite characters.

Here’s a closer look at the compact charms and the lines for each character:

Sakata Gintoki (CV: Sugita Tomokazu): Aqua
“Then I’ll leave it to some good-for-nothing, too.”
“Don’t die.”
“Gya, gya, gya, gya, so noisy! Is he in heat?!”

Kagura (CV: Kugimiya Rie): Light Pink
“This is a planet of freedom, you can live the way you like.”
“I can’t win against brother.”
"Kyahhooo!!”

Takasugi Shinsuke (CV: Koyasu Takehito): Purple
“If I die, take care of Sensei for me.”
“I can only ask a good-for-nothing like myself.”
“I’m just taking down this rotten world.”

Kamui (CV: Hino Satoshi): Dark Pink
“You’ve gotten more Yato-like.”
“Big brother is gentle.”
“Rabbits die when they’re lonely.”

Secret

The voice compacts will be available for 800 yen each (before tax) in Animate shops, AmiAmi Akihabara store, Sanyodo, J-World Tokyo, Jump Shops, as well as online stores from mid-October.
