Roppongi Hill's Summer Station Will Be Full of Doraemon!

Doraemon will yet again be returning to the annual Summer Station in Roppongi Hills!

To begin, similar to last year, anyone visiting the entryway for Summer Station will be greeted by 66 life-sized statues of Doraemon. He’ll be sporting all sorts of useful tools, poses, and expressions! (Just imagine all the fun photo shenanigans that could take place!)

Then, from July 15 to Aug. 27, an attraction event called “Doraemon Treasure Island Adveture: Zakuku! AR Treasure Hunting!” will take place. Drawing inspiration from the upcoming film “Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Treasure Island” (which premieres Mar. 2018),

Those with tablets or phones will be able to see the hidden Doraemon landscape around then, from huge ships to the depths of the ocean. There are tons of hidden items scattered here and there waiting to be found, and if someone finds all of them, they’ll receive a special present! Afterward, fans can go take real pictures with Captain Doraemon!

Even if someone misses all of those activities, there’s no way they’ll miss the sight of a 100-meter tall Doraemon! The gigantic balloon, which has also been erected in previous years, will make yet another appearance and greet all onlooking fans.

For those dying to visit, 1-day passes are on sale now; adult tickets are 2,000 yen each while minor tickets are 1,000 yen.
