Inuyashiki Main Visual Revealed & Additional Staff Announced!

Inuyashiki, the latest work from Gantz creator Oku Hiroya, has revealed the main visual for its upcoming anime adaptation! It was published in the May 23 issue of Evening, the bi-weekly magazine in which the manga is serialized.

Featuring Inuyashiki’s daughter, Mari, and his dog, Hanako surrounded by scattered machine parts and expectantly looking into the camera, the visual captures the theme and the motto of the series, “I became a hero for this time.”

Newly announced staff members include Seko Hiroshi from Ajin and Zankyo no Terror, who will be in charge of series composition, and Onda Naoyuki, known for his work on Rage of Bahamut: Genesis and Gantz, who is joining as character designer.

Oku Hiroya's Inuyashiki is a popular manga that sold 2.2 million volumes in total. It is set to run for 10 volumes, with only five chapters remaining at present.

Directed by Sato Keiichi and Yabuta Shuhei, the anime will premiere in October with a live action movie starring Kinashi Noritake and Satoh Takeru following in 2018. Stay tuned for staff announcements and more coming soon!
