The company Oriental Foods has been offering meals geared towards companies since it was established in 1987. They’re switching it up as they reach their 30th anniversary, though, and are celebrating it with their first bento release for the general public, and it’s adorable!
They’ll be offering “Fuku Neko Bento” (Lucky Cat Bento) to cat lovers all over Japan, and the cat-shaped bento box can even be reused afterward!
They’re packed with classic and healthy flavors, and there are three types to choose from: Miyabi, Ranmaru, and Sakura.
Miyabi is a cute tsundere female, with her bento including rice with beans, sesame miso chicken, tuna, eggs, crab meat, shrimp fish cake, vegetables, and chestnut skin!
Moving forward, Ranmaru is an energetic male cat. This bento comes with omuraisu, octopus-shaped sausages, meatballs, fried chicken, eggs, shrimp fish cake, vegetables, and chestnut skin~
Last but not least is Sakura, a calm and sweet female cat. Her bento includes rice cooked with clams, three kinds of pork, and sweet chili sauce with shrimp fritters, as well as eggs, crab meat, shrimp fish cake, vegetables, and chestnut skin like the others.
These will be on sale in shops that sell bento, stores themed around cats, and at cat-related events. If only they were available overseas, too!
